Primary Duties
- Receive Cash: Handle and process payments for municipal services or products accurately and securely.
- Reconcile Cash: Ensure that collected funds match receipts, and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Document and Records Management: Keep organized and up-to-date financial documentation for auditing and reconciliation purposes.
- Customer Relations Services: Provide excellent service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving payment issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Position 2: Caretakers (x2)
Job Purpose
Caretakers will be responsible for operational activities at landfills and transfer station sites, ensuring efficient and compliant waste disposal practices.
Primary Duties
- Disposal Site Management: Oversee the daily operations of landfill and transfer station sites to ensure adherence to permit conditions and regulatory frameworks.
- Daily Waste Processing: Manage the processing, covering, and compaction of waste cells to maintain site efficiency.
- Maintenance of Infrastructure: Ensure the upkeep and proper maintenance of disposal facility infrastructure.
- Supervisory Functions: Provide guidance and oversight to personnel allocated to the site.
- Waste Recycling Activities: Manage recycling activities to promote sustainable waste management practices.
- Complaint and Incident Management: Attend to and investigate complaints and incidents related to disposal site operations, ensuring timely resolution.
