Job Responsibilities
As a Call Centre Officer, your responsibilities will include:
Handling incoming and outgoing calls from the public and stakeholders.
Assisting customers with road traffic queries, licensing, and registration inquiries.
Providing accurate information regarding RTMC services and regulations.
Logging and updating customer interactions in the system.
Handling complaints professionally and escalating unresolved issues when necessary.
Ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery.
Following standard operating procedures and adhering to company policies.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
✅ Matric / Grade 12 certificate (compulsory)
✅ Certificate in Contact/Call Centre Operations (advantageous)
✅ 1 – 2 years of experience in a call centre or administrative role (essential)
✅ Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
✅ Proficiency in English and at least one other official South African language
✅ Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage customer expectations
✅ Computer literacy – knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude
