These programmes aim to produce skilled, knowledgeable individuals capable of meeting the demands of the labor market. Learnerships are guided by the Sectoral Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) and fall under the jurisdiction of the Minister of Higher Education and Training.

Learnership Allowance

Participants in the Learnership Programme will receive a monthly allowance as determined by the Learnership Determination. This allowance is governed by prevailing learnership conditions during the programme.
